Abstract
Integrating of industrial enterprises into the European market leads to significant managerial challenges not exclusively with adopting of values but regarding compliance with strict carbon emission regulations. The main challenges are the conformity of environmental management systems, conducting carbon emissions audits, process optimization, and investment in emission reduction initiatives. Moreover, compliance with the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) emerges as a vital aspect of managerial decisions and investments.
