| dc.description.abstract | The main purpose of the article is to study the process of becoming a social enterprise in the world and, on this basis, to identify problems and perspectives for its development in Ukraine in the context of sustainable development. The article defines the role of social entrepreneurship in ensuring sustainable development of the countries, as well as features of social entrepreneurship in the conditions of globalization of the economy. The article notes that the basis of social enterprise is a commercial model of economic behaviour that creates a mechanism for social support and infrastructure development through close integration into the public system. The main characteristics of the social enterprise, which were formed under the influence of the transition of mankind to the concept of sustainable development, which was proclaimed by the United Nations Conference in the second half of the twentieth century, are considered. The article analyzes the theoretical research platform of social entrepreneurship, the main trends of its development in Ukraine. The article reveals the conditions and possibilities for more effective introduction of social entrepreneurship in the globalized economy. As a conclusion, the article emphasizes that the functions and models of social enterprises on all continents reflect the power of globalization due to the increased attention to the role of sustainable development. The phenomenon of the development of social entrepreneurship in Western countries is an effective tool for attracting additional financial resources, motivating the maintenance of institutions that provide social services and contribute to sustainable development. | uk |
