We can distinguish between studies that aim to compare conventional and organic farming and studies that just model samples of organic farms. Sample selection issues seem to be a major problem in some studies, since the organic farming group is often relatively small. Also the structural difference between the groups of organic and conventional farms within the data-sets is seldom discussed in detail. Comparing organic and conventional farms, organic farms perform slightly worse than conventional farms. The inclusion of a sample selection model shows that the conversion to organic farming is not driven by inefficiency. The degree of specialization does not seem to be optimal, nevertheless the limits of specialization are not discussed in detail. Environmental indicators are only considered in a few studies, which show that organic farming might be more efficient when the environmental dimension of production (such as landscape elements and diversity in the crop-rotation) is taken into account. However, finding appropriate data sets with enough observation for modelling is a problem in these analyses. Investigation shows that technical efficiency depends on the farm focus and varies substantially across the different regions in Germany. Technical efficiency during the conversion period is lower, but converting farms achieve the same efficiency level as established organic farms after 6—10 years.Item Efficiency networks in service delivery as benchmarking practice: experiences from Odessa and Mykolaiv oblasts(ДВНЗ «Київський національний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2011-07-14) Aadne, Aasland; Shevliakov, IgorItem The financial crisis in foreign countries(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2010) Tkachenko, V. The criticism primarily tackles its assumptions on the rationality of atomised actors, efficient markets, availability of perfect information, and static foundations. Postsocialist transition additionally questioned straightforwardness of Western economists applying neoclassical tools. It became evident that other factors like institutions and values need to be included and thoroughly researched. At the same time, other approaches to analysis, often including findings from other social sciences, have been taken into account as more appropriate. This paper draws on the Eastern European transformation experience and focuses on the theoretical support that has been provided since the 1990s. Institutional analysis proved to be very adequate tool for the exploration of persistence of informal constraints and their interaction with the formal ones. Certain aspects of convergence of New Institutional Economics and New Economic Sociology appear to be very insightful for the observation of transitional reforms. Furthermore, ex post analyses clearly recommend the Evolutionary Institutionalist Perspective that was for a long time neglected by the Washington Consensus proponents despite the Post-Washington Consensus ideas. Finally, even though the theory on the transition processes is still in its development, it has become evident that economics as a discipline benefited through transition processes.Item HR-брендинг, як інструмент успішної реалізації кадрової політики(ДВНЗ «Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2010-06-23) Збрицька, Т. Because of that, different modes of organization arise, but different performance, as the goal of any organized group. Mentality is a specific factor that influences the design of organization and management, but also its performance. Mentality produces creative work, which is usually presented as creativity and innovation. Both are new ways to ensure higher quality of life and work of individuals and organizations. In these processes, people successfully realize visualization exercise, as a result of man’s mentality. Papers with the subject of mentality are scarce, and if it was investigated at all it was in a different context, i.e. procedures not occurred from the standpoint of increasing personal and business success. The paradox is that it turns out that mentality exists in the natural and social order, but in the universe too and that the ether of mental character and this phenomenon has not been sufficiently analyzed in the theory of organization and management. Reason for should be look for in a large presence of traditional organization and management, which has as a basis Taylorism, Faylism, and Amazonism. These concepts were once effective, but under present conditions have proved unsuccessful, as the epilogue is the disappearance of many business and other organizations, or reduced business performance. The paper aims to clarify the impact of mentality as an influence factor in personal and business success, and neuro programming as a model to influence the mental side of humanity. Of course, the use of mental energy can be discussed as a new approach and concept in the managing companies.Item New institional approach to collaborative networks(ДВНЗ «Київський національний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана», 2011) Kulaga, A.; Кулага, А.
