The dissertation is dedicated to a comprehensive study of the theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the transformation of the world energy sector under globalization. У результаті всі ми є свідками розбудови у глобальних координатах багаторівневої інтегрованої системи цифрової екосистеми охорони здоров’я, яка базується на діджитал-технологіях, формує якісно нові канали створення цінності для споживачів медичних послуг і забезпечує глибоку конвергентну взаємодію усіх ключових суб’єктів системи медичного обслуговування громадян — від лікарів, пацієнтів, закладів охорони здоров’я і держав до компаній з медичного страхування, міжурядових і неурядових міжнародних організацій, бізнес-спільнот тощо.У системних процесах глобальної цифрової трансформації економічної діяльності особливе місце в останні роки посідає сервісна індустрія, яка, як свідчить міжнародний досвід, у постіндустріальній парадигмі світогосподарського розвитку значною мірою детермінує структурну динаміку національних економік більшості країн світу. Йдеться насамперед про суттєве випередження сервісною індустрією промислового й аграрного секторів за внеском у виробництво глобального валового внутрішнього продукту, концентрацією сукупної робочої сили та генеруванням усезростаючих масштабів доданої вартості. З огляду на це, є всі підстави стверджувати, що фрагментарно впроваджувані в умовах діджиталізації якісно нові бізнес-моделі цифрової системи охорони здоров’я вже у найближче десятиліття акумулюють потужний інституційно-технологічний ресурс для «підриву» традиційних бізнес-моделей медичного обслуговування з їх відходом від звуженого формату первинної ланки медичних послуг до глибокого проникнення в усі ланки сформованого в охороні здоров’я вартісного ланцюга, а отже — формуванням стійких грошових потоків для продуцентів медичних послуг. Nowadays, both diversified channels of medical care for patients in remote mode, as well as extensive telemedical networks and systems of exchange of specialized medical information between all participants in the process of public reproduction of medical services at the national and supranational levels are actively being formed. As a result, we are all witnessing the development in global coordinates of a multi-level integrated system of a digital ecosystem of health care, which is based on digital technologies, forms qualitatively new channels of value creation for consumers of medical services and ensures deep convergent interaction of all key subjects of the medical care system citizens - from doctors, patients, health care institutions and states to health insurance companies, intergovernmental and non-governmental international organizations, business communities, etc. In view of this, there is every reason to claim that the qualitatively new business models of the digital health care system implemented in a fragmented manner in the conditions of digitalization will already in the next decade accumulate a powerful institutional and technological resource for "undermining" traditional business models of medical care with their departure from the narrowed format of the primary link of medical services to deep penetration into all links of the value chain formed in health care, and therefore - the formation of sustainable cash flows for producers of medical services. In the systemic processes of the global digital transformation of economic activity, a special place has been occupied by the service industry in recent years, which, as international experience shows, in the post-industrial paradigm of world economic development largely determines the structural dynamics of the national economies of most countries of the world. У роботі розкрито характер і ключові векторні тренди глобальної трансформації світового порядку та його вплив на національні економічні стратегії України і США. Конкретизовано геоекономічні цілі Сполучених Штатів і механізми їх реалізації, обґрунтовано нову концепцію стратегічного партнерства України і США. Значну увагу приділено аналізу зовнішньоторговельного співробітництва України і США та обґрунтуванню шляхів його вдосконалення. Системно охарактеризовано міждержавну інвестиційно-виробничу кооперацію у контексті залучення України до глобального відтворювального процесу; а також розкрито масштаби, структуру і нереалізований потенціал українсько-американського співробітництва у науково-технічній сфері. Обґрунтовано ключові напрями розбудови українсько-американського стратегічного партнерства у контексті імплементації Угоди про асоціацію між Україною і ЄС, визначено механізми удосконалення системи міжнародної технічної допомоги Сполучених Штатів Україні як ключового фактору регіональної безпеки у Європі. The dissertation is devoted to complex research of economic cooperation between Ukraine and the United States of America in emerging global model of the world economic order. The paper deals with the character and key trends of global transformation of the world order and their impact on national economic strategies of Ukraine and the USA. Geo-economic goals of the USA, mechanisms of their implementation, as well as a new concept of strategic partnership between Ukraine and the USA have been concretized. The complex analysis of trade cooperation between Ukraine and the USA has been done and the main obstacles of its development have been determined as well. The main ways of improvement of trade cooperation are revealed. Special attention is paid to comprehensive description of the investment and industrial cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the context of Ukraine's involvement in the global reproductive process. The dissertation summarizes major quantitative and qualitative parameters of interstate investment cooperation and the key directions of its intensification, including the following: creation of joint ventures in livestock and crop production using American agricultural technologies; connection of local businesses to multinational production networks with the participation of US multinationals; implementation of mechanisms syndicated loans through joining of domestic and American financial institutions; association of Ukrainian and American capital within the industrial and financial groups etc. The typical features, trends and main forms of Ukrainian-American cooperation in science and technology have been exposed (intergovernmental scientific and educational exchanges, internships of Ukrainian scientists, researchers and innovators in the United States, Ukraine – NATO cooperation (development of information technologiers; research in biology and biotechnology, material science and environmental, health and energy conservation; purchase of American equipment, patents and registration of intellectual property of American owners in Ukraine; participation of Ukrainian inventors, institutions and organizations in exhibitions of high-tech products and technologies in the USA etc.). Reasonable mechanisms of diversification of Ukrainian-American investment cooperation have been grounded: incorporation of Ukrainian enterprises into technological chains operating within American multinationals; accession of Ukrainian institutions into international research alliances and networks involving US entities etc. Integration platform of Ukrainian-American economic cooperation diversification has been grounded in the contex of implementation of the Association agreement between Ukraine and EU and the Transatlantic trade and investment partnership between the US and the EU. The additional advantages for Ukraine raising from implementation of these integration projects have been identified. The main directions of deepening of UkrainianAmerican economic cooperation in the frame of the Association agreement between Ukraine and EU have been grounded: harmonization of national legislation on intellectual property protection with European standards and requirements; convergence of national certification and standardization systems with the requirements of the EU; convergence of regulatory rules on financial services; liberalization of bilateral investments and mutual protection of investors; harmonization of competiton policy on the M&A market; convergence of pharmaceutical standards for testing and production of new drugs; harmonization of labor standards etc.). Special attention is paid to grounding of main directions of American technical assistance to Ukraine as a key factor of regional securityin Europe. Диссертация посвящена комплексному исследованию экономического сотрудничества Украины и Соединенных Штатов Америки в условиях формирования глобальной модели мирового экономического порядка. В работе раскрыт характер и ключевые векторные тренды глобальной трансформации мирового порядка, определено его влияние на национальные экономические стратегии Украины и США. Конкретизированы геоэкономические цели Соединенных Штатов и механизмы их реализации, обоснована новая концепция стратегического партнерства Украины и США. Значительное внимание уделено анализу внешнеторгового сотрудничества Украины и США и обоснованию путей его совершенствования. Системно охарактеризована межгосударственная инвестиционно-производственная кооперация в контексте включения Украины в глобальный воспроизводственный процесс; а также раскрыты масштабы, структура и нереализованный потенциал украинско-американского сотрудничества в научно-технической сфере. Автором досліджено тенденції та систематизовано етапи становлення корпоративного сектору країн БРІКС, ідентифіковано мотиваційну складову експансії ТНК, проведено бенчмаркінг діяльності на глобальних ринках. Оцінено ефективність використання інноваційної бізнес-моделі як важливого інструменту стратегічного оновлення корпорацій. Досліджено стратегічні моделі експансії та їх вплив на рівень глобальної конкурентоспроможності ТНК. Узагальнено стратегічно важливі сектори економіки країн. Дано прогностичну оцінку глобальної конкурентоспроможності країн БРІКС. The thesis is devoted to a comprehensive study of theoretical and practical aspects of creating and sustaining competitive advantages of BRICS countries’ transnational corporations in global markets. In the thesis the essence of dynamic competitive advantages is revealed; conditions, factors and mechanism of their creation has been investigated. Significant attention is devoted to the research and analysis of BRICS countries’ TNCs peculiarities and their competitiveness. The expansion motives in different stages of transnationalization process are identified. The efficacy of innovative business model through the concept of creating and capturing value is evaluated. The strategic directions of BRICS countries and their priority economic sectors are summarized. Expansion strategies of transnational corporations and their impact on global competitiveness are disclosed. The decade following the turn of the new millennium has been characterized by the emergence of the BRICS countries—Brazil, the Russian Federation, India, China and South Africa—which have come to account for a significant share of economic growth, demand expansion, industrial production and wealth creation in today’s world. The success of these regional economic powers in achieving sustained economic growth and poverty reduction has become a reference point both for developing countries to emulate and for industrialized countries to regain economic dynamism. The BRICS countries have a growing importance to the world economy and are characterized by a significant level of internationalization (with inward and outward FDI) and strong presence of transnational corporations. Global challenges and increased competition for tangible and intangible resources lead to the global rearrangement of competitive forces. The BRICS countries’ TNCs enjoy the next competitive advantages: prediction and understanding of consumer needs; privileged access to home country resources and profitable market segments; ability to work with institutional and governmental agencies within national markets; ultra low production costs; ability to operate effectively and adapt to adverse market conditions; pioneers advantages; disruptive innovation; supply chain configuration; focus on mergers and acquisitions. In the thesis author confirmed the hypothesis that the TNCs were not a homogeneous group, as the level of development and ways of internationalization, industry and markets, competitive advantages vary quite significantly. On the basis of benchmarking and comparative analysis of BRICS countries’ TNCs it is proved that this group of emerging market multinationals masters unique management and organizational characteristics, possesses the ability to synergistically combine inputs, capital flows, qualified staff, innovative solutions with the aim of maximizing profits and achieve sustainable growth. High competitive position of transnational corporations from BRICS countries can be explained due to an effective expansion strategies into global markets. A key strategic goal of TNCs is gaining increasing competitive positions in profitable segments of global markets through the implementation of leading innovation policy and system management effectiveness. The selection of expansion strategies is provided through the evaluation of micro, macro determinants, the speed of expansion to new markets, analysis of cross-cultural differences and aims to consolidate the leadership imperatives in production, finance, science and technology areas. In thesis author has identified conceptual model of alternative expansion strategies for TNCs (aggregation, arbitration, adaptation, affiliation) that unlike existing ones considers not only cultural, political, geographic and economic distance between countries but also synergy effect from using and overcoming differences. It’s proved by the author’s econometric model that country’s global competitiveness is determined by the correlation dependence between GDP and the number of innovation TNCs, expenditures on R&D, research personnel, value added of industrial sectors. It allows to consider firstly the impact of financial, human, industrial and innovation indicators of the leading multinationals in the country's GDP, and secondly, the convergence of BRICS countries in terms of competitiveness. In thesis it has been proved that the structural transformation of the BRICS’s economies has differed in terms of direction, speed and economic outcomes. While the manufacturing sector has been the engine of growth, employment generation and poverty reduction in China, services have played a more important role in India, and recently in Brazil. Like the Russian Federation and South Africa, Brazil has also made use of its abundant natural resources to support its growth. Sustaining the pace of economic growth in the years to come will require even the stronger role for manufacturing in all BRICS countries. Диссертация посвящена исследованию условий, факторов, механизмов формирования и реализации конкурентных преимуществ ТНК стран БРИКС. В диссертации раскрыта сущность категории «динамические конкурентные преимущества» корпорации, определено модель их формирования. Обобщен основной инструментарий стратегического менеджмента ТНК. Автором исследованы тенденции и систематизированы этапы становления корпоративного сектора стран БРИКС, идентифицировано мотивационную составляющую экспансии ТНК, проведено бенчмаркинг деятельности на глобальных рынках. Оценена эффективность использования инновационной бизнес-модели как важного инструмента стратегического обновления корпораций. Исследовано стратегические модели экспансии и их влияние на уровень глобальной конкурентоспособности ТНК. Обобщены стратегически важные секторы экономики страны. Досліджено домінанти сучасної податкової політики на основі рейтингу міжнародної податкової конкурентоспроможності. З’ясовано, що за останні кілька десятиліть граничні ставки податку на прибуток підприємств та фізичних осіб значно знизились в ОЕСР. Визначено ціннісні орієнтири та пріоритети оподаткування в глобальному масштабі, доведено, що міжнародне економічне середовище в контексті податкового поля є досить полярним та неоднорідним. The paper actualizes the need to change modern tax vectors. The dominants of modern tax policy on the basis of the rating of international tax competitiveness are studied. Over the last few decades, it has been found that the marginal rates of corporate and individual income taxes have dropped significantly in the OECD. The values and priorities of taxation on a global scale are determined, it is proved that the international economic environment in the context of the tax field is quite polar and heterogeneous. В работе актуализирована необходимости изменения налоговых векторов современности. Исследованы доминанты современной налоговой политики на основе рейтинга международной налоговой конкурентоспособности. Выяснено, что за последние несколько десятилетий предельные ставки налога на прибыль предприятий и физических лиц значительно снизились в ОЭСР.
