dc.description.abstractThe article analyzes the development of flexible labor as a component and factor of quality of working life. The role of the flexible employment model in ensuring the quality of working life in higher educational institutions is revealed. The factors of forming the quality of working life on the basis of the global tendency towards convergence of highereducation standards are determined. The purpose of the study is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of various forms of flexible employment of higher educational institutions instructors in terms of the prospect of convergence of higher education standards of Ukraine with European ones. The research has shown that the implementation of a flexible employment model in institutions of higher education requires an assessment of the type of employee, that is, thorough study of the specifics of the work and the personality of the employee; intensity of work to mitigate the "burnout" of the workforce; the threat of isolation, in the case where some forms of flexible employment can create a barrier for the inclusion of the individual (the phenomenon of "rejection"). The administration of the institution should also take into account all the pros and cons, as well as the available resources, when introducing the western models of flexible employment. The main purpose of the study is to avoid the conflict of private and working life, and, accordingly, to improve the quality of working life.uk
