Abstract
Дисертаційна робота присвячена комплексному дослідженню теоретико-методологічних і практичних аспектів розвитку транснаціональних бізнес-груп у парадигмі глобального менеджменту.
У роботі розглядається генезис концептуальних засад корпоративних методик управління, досліджено тенденції та суперечності становлення глобального менеджменту. Проаналізовано потенціал глобального корпоративного лідерства, місце національних бізнес-груп у системі глобального менеджменту, визначено перспективи їх інтеграції в зарубіжні корпоративні структури.
Автором розкрито принципові характеристики, загальностратегічну обумовленість і профіль участі в транснаціональних бізнес-групах, проведено комплексний аналіз особливостей їх розвитку в розвинутих економіках та економіках, що розвиваються. Аргументовано доведено пріоритетність створення глобальних стратегічних альянсів як організаційної форми транснаціональних бізнес-груп і охарактеризовано їх крос-культурні особливості.
The thesis is devoted to the comprehensive research of theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of transnational business groups in the paradigm of global management. Conceptual genesis of corporate management techniques, trends and contradictions of the global management have been researched. The potential of corporate leadership, the place of national business groups in the system of global management and the perspectives of foreign corporate structures integration have been analyzed. The research has showed business group classification, systematization of their tendencies, development and functional peculiarities, the place and the role in the conditions of the global management paradigm.
The analysis has proved that the new paradigm of global management is being formed in global conditions and on the one hand is characterized by complexity, contradictions of forms and mechanisms, institutional imbalances, existence of diverse management centres and on the other hand allows to rationalize the behaviour of its participants, provides the new system of relations between entities, guarantees the dynamic competitive advantages. The global environment of institutional development, trends and contradictions of the global management have been researched. The importance of business group formation in Ukraine has been stressed.
The criteria of typological characteristics and systematization of transnational business groups have been represented by specialization, organizational and legal forms of integration, types of connections between its structural elements, geographical origin. The organizational form of transnational business groups have been proved to be determined by its geographical location. It has been defined that the global strategic alliances are holding the leading position in high-tech industries, in particular software, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, medical equipment, measuring instruments.
In the dissertation the new approaches to the analysis of transnational business groups on the basis of functional-regional matrix, which allows to identify the key features of their activity in terms of basic functions (operational and assembly, marketing, production and research) in North America, the EU and Japan have been described. The increased role and importance of such transnational business groups as global strategic alliances have been pointed out. The analyse has shown that unlike other organizational forms strategic alliance is not an individual legal entity and therefore internal alliance cooperation is quite strong and covers all aspects of the group activity. The members of the alliance have been proved to be not only providers but also competitors (joint use of the latest technological advances by France Telecom and Deutsche Telecom in the domestic markets, the association efforts of Grundig and Philips in the video, Honda and Rover in the automotive industry). The activity of 800 global strategic alliances and cooperation of their members have been described in the work.
The author has revealed fundamental characteristics, overall strategic dependence and participation profile in transnational business groups, which have been formed by indexes of informational transparency, fiscal, technological, operational optimization, organizational modernization, rational use of resources, internal management harmonization. In the work the parameters evaluating the effectiveness of management in transnational business groups that consists in maximization of the positive synergetic effects, intensification of system partner cooperation, reconfiguration of the investment portfolio, providing staff coordination and dissemination of regional expansion have been presented. The priority of global strategic alliances as an organizational form of transnational business groups has been reasonably proved in the research and their cross-cultural peculiarities (mainly marketing profile of the North American alliances, research priorities of the European Union alliances, the effective implementation of production functions in Japanese international strategic alliances) have been described. The comprehensive analysis of their development peculiarities in mature and emerging economies has been presented in the work.
The factors of business groups formation in the structure of the Ukrainian economy have been pointed out. In particular the high level of investment risks, that limit the inflow of foreign capital into the country; the specificity of "primitive capital accumulation" in a deep economic crisis circumstances and weak state control of the big business; lack of the developed market environment and the presence of oligarchic power elite in the country have been highlighted.
The weak state support of national business groups, which partly determines the lack of their interest in high-tech industries, has been stated. The conclusion that the legislative and institutional reform of national and foreign business groups is necessary as well as strategic priorities and the transnationalization of national economy definition has been made.

В работе рассматривается генезис концептуальных основ корпоративных методик управления, исследованы тенденции и противоречия становления глобального менеджмента. Проанализированы потенциал глобального корпоративного лидерства, место национальных бизнес-групп в системе глобального менеджмента, определены перспективы их интеграции в зарубежные корпоративные структуры.
Автором раскрыты принципиальные характеристики, общестратегическая обусловленность и профиль участия в транснациональных бизнес-группах, проведен комплексный анализ особенностей их развития в развитых и развивающихся экономиках. Аргументированно доказано приоритетность создания глобальных стратегических альянсов как организационной формы транснациональных бизнес-групп и охарактеризованы их кросс-культурные особенности.
