Abstract

One of the main tasks of agricultural management, which largely determines the effectiveness of the enterprise, is crop areas planning. The model proposed in the paper determines the optimal crop areas by the criterion of maximizing profit on the basis of simulation modeling of grain production process. The resulting optimization problem is solved using genetic algorithm. The results of the practical implementation of the developed model show that the model can be used in practice.
