Abstract
У статті досліджено сучасний стан і тенденції розвитку світового ринку логістичних послуг. Визначено рейтинг провідних країн за Індекс ефективності логістики з зазначенням позиції України. Представлено динаміку обсягів ринку, регіональну структуру, витрати за видами послуг та основні сегменти споживання. Особливу увагу приділено розвитку ринку 4PL-операторів, їх ролі в цифровізації та оптимізації ланцюгів постачання. Визначено ключових гравців сегменту 4PL світового ринку логістичних послуг. Зроблено висновок про перспективність логістики як стратегічного напряму глобального економічного розвитку.
The article examines the current state and emerging trends in the global logistics services market, highlighting the significance of logistics efficiency in enhancing national competitiveness. Countries with high logistics performance ensure better access to international markets through reliable supply chains, while those with low efficiency face increased costs and reduced competitiveness. A key analytical tool used in the study is the Logistics Performance Index (LPI), developed by the World Bank, which evaluates countries based on six core indicators. The article presents LPI rankings from 2014 to 2023, highlighting the positions of leading countries and Ukraine. It also analyzes the dynamics of the global logistics market, including volume, regional segmentation, and cost structure by service type. Special attention is given to the 4PL logistics segment, which represents an advanced model of supply chain management. The study identifies major global 4PL operators and their strategic roles in digital transformation, integration, and optimization of logistics processes. The article outlines the growing demand for comprehensive logistics solutions driven by globalization, technological innovation, and the increasing complexity of supply chains. Forecasts indicate that the global logistics market will reach $5.9 trillion by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 9.5 %. The Asia-Pacific region is identified as the most profitable and fastest-growing market.
Additionally, the article highlights the structural transformation of logistics costs, with transportation and warehousing services remaining the dominant components. It also highlights the increasing importance of maritime and road transport, which are expected to drive the logistics sector’s growth in the years to come. The study also highlights the growing specialization of logistics services by industry, particularly in the automotive, consumer goods, and e-commerce sectors. These trends reflect the strategic shift toward customized, technology-driven logistics solutions tailored to specific market needs.
