| dc.description.abstract | У світлі глобальної конкуренції за клієнта компанії змушені переосмислювати свої політики на користь сучасних трендів екологічності, соціальної справедливості та доброчесності. Нове покоління Y, яке починає формувати усе ширший прошарок у ділових колах, вимагає від представників фінансового ринку ширшої інклюзивності. У статті розкрито суть поняття ESG-інвестування в умовах турбулентних змін, спричинених як коронавірусною пандемією, так і приходом молодих інвесторів-представників покоління міленіалів, та фокусується на проблематиці ґендерних дисбалансів на фінансовому ринку. In a constant struggle for clients, companies need to get inventive as they face investors’ pressure in keeping their policies up to date: ecological, social and compliant. Nearly every company nowadays is willing to include the ESG-component to its financial statement. Unfortunately, only a part of them really stands behind the ESG-principles stated on paper, whether many engage themselves into advertising it on social media in the wave of the so-called “green washing” or “green PR”. The new Generation Y, building a fresh class of investors, presents itself as a challenge for the rigid financial sector while pushing it to compliance with their values of total inclusion, ecological and gender balance. Women are still widely underrepresented in the financial industry, and during the coronavirus pandemic gender gap has only worsened in all fields. The article aims to explain the concept of ESG-investment and its gender component. It argues the different approaches to define the ESGinvesting and makes the notion of evolution of corporations’ social responsible policies over time. It gives an overview of the advantages for corporations through including women into their teams, especially within the C-Suite, as well as a broader access to funds for women. The insight into the novice tech approach in delivering banking experience to women over smartphone provides a better opportunity to female inclusion to the process of investing. The article concludes that both private and public investments need a boost in promoting gender equality to bring about inclusive, sustainable and innovative growth. Companies need to put a strong emphasis on reaching gender parity at the workplace as well as in respective societies. В свете глобальной конкуренции за клиента компании вынуждены пересматривать свою политику в пользу современных трендов экологичности, социальной справедливости и деловой этики. Новое поколение Y, начинающее формировать все более широкий слой в деловых кругах, требует от представителей финансового рынка более широкой инклюзивности. Статья раскрывает суть понятия ESG-инвестирования в условиях турбулентных изменений, вызванных как коронавирусной пандемией, так и приходом молодых инвесторов-представителей поколения миллениалов, и фокусируется на проблематике гендерных дисбалансов на финансовом рынке. | uk_UA |
