One of the most foreground phenomena in the Ukrainian media is to find a permanent balance between national and foreign-language lexical units as an indisputable factor in maintaining the adequate level of linguistic tolerance in a multicultural environment. There are controversial views on the degree of internationalization for the terms that are the main carriers of special information in the economic media texts; such a controversity is based on the attempts to maximize the use of the national linguistic resource and to borrow the instruments that will facilitate effective international scientific communication. The article analyzes the correlation of foreign languages and the specific terms in an economic media text, identifies possible causes of terminological imbalance, and emphasizes on the normative aspect of the foreign language lexemes’ functioning. Розглянуто позамовні та внутрішньомовні причини запозичень. Визначено найбільш актуальні способи адаптації іншомовних терміноодиниць субмови менеджменту. З-поміж запозичень виокремлено давні запозичення, інтернаціоналізми та англоамериканізми. Акцентовано на можливих варіантах семантичної трансформації міжнародних лексем. Підтверджено словотвірну активність інтернаціональних термінів. Схарактеризовано позитивні й негативні прояви інтернаціоналізації. The research is dedicated to the problems of borrowings in the Ukrainian terminology of management. Extra-linguistic and intra-linguistic reasons for borrowing are considered. The actual ways for foreign terminological units’ adaptation in management sublanguage are determined. Ancient borrowings, internationalisms and Anglo-Americanisms are highlighted among the borrowings. The emphasis is made on possible variants of semantic transformation of international lexemes. The word-forming activity of international terms is confirmed. The articles highlight the authors’ long-term research interests and cover various aspects of the scientific nomination in special subtexts. The article focuses on the issues of formation and normalization of the system of morphological terms, which were introduced by Ukrainian grammarians of the 20th and early 21st centuries. Установлено, що транстермінологізація є процесом семантичної еволюції терміна під час переміщення його з однієї галузі знань до іншої. Доведено, що транстермінологізація термінів досліджуваної терміносистеми виявляє себе в запозиченні понять із суміжних економічних галузей знань, а також природничо-математичних та гуманітарних. Зроблено висновок, що терміни, мігруючи з економічної терміносистеми до терміносистеми менеджменту, можуть зберігати своє лексичне значення або ж еволюціонувати, набуваючи нового значення в новому термінологічному оточенні. Виявлено, що взаємодія економічної й досліджуваної термінології полягає в залученні загальноекономічних термінів до терміносистеми менеджменту без зміни семантики; у звуженні семантичного діапазону економічного терміна внаслідок входження до термінології менеджменту та залучення загальноекономічних та спеціальних економічних термінів як структурних компонентів у поєднанні з новими семантичними конкретизаторами до утворення термінів-словосполучень. Проаналізовано різноманітні форми взаємозв’язків між термінами психології, математики, географії, біології, політології, медицини тощо зі спеціальною лексикою терміносистеми менеджменту: 1) залучення термінів в терміносистему менеджменту без зміни семантики; 2) уживання переосмисленого терміна іншої галузі в терміносистемі менеджменту; 3) уживання термінів як структурних компонентів у термінах-словосполученнях. Доведено, що найпродуктивнішим є вживання термінів інших галузей (як економічних, так і математично-природничих та гуманітарних) як структурних компонентів в аналітичних термінах менеджменту. The article discusses one of the methods of forming a terminological management system. It has been established that transterminologisation is a process of semantic evolution of a term during its transfer from one field of knowledge to another. It has been proven that the transterminologisation of the terms of the terminological system under study manifests itself in the borrowing of concepts from related economic fields of knowledge, as well as naturalmathematical and humanitarian. It is concluded that the terms, migrating from the economic terminological system to the management terminological system, can retain their lexical meaning or evolve, acquiring a new meaning in a new terminological environment. It has been found that the interaction of economic and research terminology consists in the inclusion of general economic terms in the management terminology system without changing the semantics; in the narrowing of the semantics of the economic term as a result of entering into the terminology of management and the involvement of general economic and special economic terms as structural components in combination with new semantic concretizers to the formation of terms-phrases. Various forms of interrelationships between the terms of different fields with the special vocabulary of the management term system have been analyzed: the inclusion of psychology, mathematics, geography, biology, political science, etc. terms in the management term system without changing the semantics; the use of a reinterpreted term of another field in the management terminology system; the use of terms as structural components in terms-phrases. It has been proven that the most productive is the use of terms from other fields (both economic, mathematical, natural and humanitarian) as structural components in analytical terms of management.Item Усталення термінологійного апарату на позначення явища міжчастиномовної транспозиції (у системі іменних частин мови)(Херсонський державний університет, 2024) Ярошевич, Ірина Арнольдівна; Yaroshevych, Iryna; Краснопольська, Наталія Леонідівна; Krasnopolska, NataliiaМета. У статті проаналізовано терміни на позначення явища транспозиції у системі іменних частин мови з погляду їхнього усталення та кодифікаційного закріплення, закцентовано увагу на різновидах, ступенях міжчастиномовної транспозиції та на інтернаціональному характерові зазначених термінів в українській лінгвістичній термінології. Мета – дослідити розширену останнім часом тематичну групу терміноодиниць на позначення явища переходу у системі іменних частин мови та окремих його різновидів з позицій новітніх ідей, випрацюваних на основі теоретичних засад, та з погляду функційно-категорійної граматики. Методи. Комплексне використання описового методу, методу лінгвістичного спостереження для з’ясування проблем усталення й кодифікації морфологійних термінів та методу зіставного аналізу для простеження динаміки становлення зазначеної термінопідсистеми граматики. Результати. У зв’язку з поглибленим вивченням, новим розумінням та інтерпретацією багатьох граматичних явищ української мови до наукового обігу вводиться нова термінологія. У роботі проаналізовано появу лінгвістичних понять і терміноодиниць для позначення явища переходу у системі іменних частин мови, схарактеризовано окремі його ступені та різновиди. Звернено увагу на продуктивні й непродуктивні типи перехідних явищ у системі іменних частин мови. У граматичній структурі мови спостерігаємо динамічні процеси, пов’язані з функційним розширенням кількісного складу одних мовних одиниць за рахунок інших лексико-граматичних класів (частин мови), що перебувають у постійному русі і взаємодіють один з одним. Найпомітніше перехідні явища спостерігаються саме у системі повнозначних, зокрема іменних, частин мови і традиційно позначаються термінами субстантивація, ад’єктивація, нумералізація, прономіналізація. Висновки. Сучасні процеси термінотворення значно розширюють поняттєво-термінологійний апарат граматики, тому питання упорядкування української наукової термінології залишаються в полі зору дослідників. Для позначення різновидів та ступенів міжчастиномовної транспозиції у сучасній науковій літературі переважно використовують терміни-інтернаціоналізми, в основі яких лежать латинські корені. Всі аналізовані терміни поповнюють лінгвістичну терміносистему новими одиницями. Важливість уведення до наукового обігу таких термінів є вмотивованим і беззаперечним. Рurpose. The article analyzes the terms used to indicate the phenomenon of transposition in the system of noun parts of language from the point of view of their establishment and codification, focusing attention on the varieties and degrees of inter-partial transposition and on the international nature of these terms in Ukrainian linguistic terminology. The goal is to investigate the recently expanded thematic group of term units to denote the phenomenon of transition in the system of noun parts of language and its individual varieties from the standpoint of the latest ideas developed on the basis of theoretical principles and from the point of view of functional-categorical grammar. Methods. Complex use of the descriptive method, the method of linguistic observation to clarify the problems of establishment and codification of morphological terms, and the method of comparative analysis to trace the dynamics of the formation of the specified term subsystem of grammar. The results. In connection with the in-depth study, new understanding and interpretation of many grammatical phenomena of the Ukrainian language, new terminology is introduced into scientific circulation. The paper analyzes the emergence of linguistic concepts and term units to denote the phenomenon of transition in the system of noun parts of language, characterizes its individual degrees and varieties. Attention is drawn to productive and unproductive types of transitional phenomenon in the system of noun parts of language. In the grammatical structure of the language, we observe dynamic processes associated with the functional expansion of the quantitative composition of some linguistic units at the expense of other lexical-grammatical classes (parts of the language), which are in constant motion and interact with each other. The most noticeable transitional phenomena are observed precisely in the system of fully meaningful parts in particular in the system of noun parts of language and are traditionally denoted by the terms substantivization, adjectivization, numeralization, pronominalization. Conclusion. Modern processes of term formation significantly expand the conceptual and terminological apparatus of grammar, therefore the issue of organizing Ukrainian scientific terminology remains in the field of view of researchers. To indicate the varieties and degrees of inter-partial transposition in modern scientific literature, the terms internationalisms, which are based on Latin roots, are mainly used. All analyzed terms replenish the linguistic terminology system with new units. The article is dedicated to modern manifestations of various trends in the choice of national or foreign name, especially in the economic discourse of recent years, where the problem of terminological oppositions between “specifi c” and “borrowed” has a place. The need to establish boundaries and defi ne the principles of linguistic tolerance for any terminological units of language is among the most obvious questions that researchers make efforts to answer, despite the fact that the internationalization of terminological unit is an universal linguistic phenomenon. Therefore, the ways how internationalisms are borrowed in the Ukrainian management terminology are analyzed. The specifi c features of how international terminological units are functioning in the modern economic metalanguage with an emphasis on their ability to evolve are studied. There are determined most relevant ways to adapt international terminological units within the frameworks of management sublanguage, which either do not undergo any changes or are adapted to the laws of the Ukrainian language in different ways. The emphasis is made on available options to semantic transformation of international international terminological units, a certain part of which has become a lexical basis for the terminology under study. There was is confi rmed the international terms’ word-forming activity basing on which various term-forming families are formed. The purpose of this study is to clear up the issue what role the international terms in the modern economic metalanguage as an important factor in maintaining or upsetting the language tolerance balance. That is why there are characterized the positive and negative manifestations of how the terminology under study undergoes to internationalization.
