The current state and prospects of using gaming in modern education is considered. Computer games as a non-standard innovative learning technology are quite effective because they form the ability to combine theoretical knowledge with practical activities. Different types of classification of computer games that contribute to a variety of educational and professional experience are analyzed. Gaming is considered as a multicultural phenomenon that has undoubted features at the national educational levels. The authors present the experience of using gaming technologies in the educational process at the Economic University. One of the results of the study is the emphasis on the prospects of using elements of gaming in language acquisition and acquiring intercultural communication skills.

The article presents the specific character of teaching foreign languages – "Ukrainian as a foreign language" and "Polish as a foreign language" – for studentseconomists at Kiev National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. The basic assumptions of these disciplines are the principle of regularity, the orientation on achieving linguistic communication, and familiarizing students with vocational vocabulary. Disciplines are aimed at teaching practical knowledge of Ukrainian and Polish as foreign languages, shaping cultural (real-life) competences and familiarizing with the normative principles of functioning of these languages in various communication situations. Particular attention is also paid to the use of innovative methods and IT technologies in language education of a modern economic university (case study method, project method, metaplan method in teaching Polish and Ukrainian languages as foreign).

The article is devoted to the problems of the use of cross-cultural communication in language education in modern economic university on the example of studies of Polish as a foreign language. Special attention is paid to introduction of design of situation of professional activity in the educational process, also to research work as an element of increase of the intercultural communication on studying Polish as a foreign language. It is underlined that the lexicographic component of professional education of students-economists is an important part of educational work. Статья посвящена проблемам использования межкультурной коммуникации в языковом образовании в современном экономическом университете на примере изучения польского языка как иностранного. Особое внимание уделяется внедрению дизайна ситуации профессиональной деятельности в учебный процесс, а также научно-исследовательской работе как элемент повышения межкультурной коммуникации по изучению польского языка как иностранного. Подчеркивается, что лексикографическая составляющая профессионального образования студентов-экономистов является важной частью воспитательной работы.
Intercultural component in teaching foreign students in Ukraine

The main directions of adaptation of foreign students to study in Ukraine are analyzed, and the modern format of humanization of education of foreign students in economic universities is considered on the example of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. Our experience shows that the study of foreign students at the Economic University is based on a typical scheme that is typical of all non-humanitarian institutions in Ukraine. The research work and cross-cultural component in the study of Ukrainian as a foreign language play an important role in the adaptation and training of economics students. The article analyzes the linguistic component of the professional education of foreign students in the course “Ukrainian as a foreign language.” Identified problems, perspectives and given practical advice to improve the work with foreign students in an economic institution in the initial stage of language acquisition. The differentiated approach in the system of assessing the knowledge of CIS students is analyzed separately.

The article focuses onthe professional component of educational paradigm. The author proves that it is essential to change the content of a particular educational paradigm from knowledge transfer to education based on competences focused on the actual process. It is essential for the students to form intercultural competence combining different strategies of linguistic behavior in native and foreign languages, appropriately use knowledge of communication strategies and tactics of professional communication.

The article contains the analysis of the Ukrainian names of the modern business discourse and the basic lingual technologies for making of an effective commercial name are described. The deviation aspect of the modern commercial naming is stressed, and the prospective lingual methods of naming for a successful marketing strategy are described. Статья содержит анализ украинских названий современного делового дискурса и описаны основные языковые технологии для создания эффективного коммерческого имени. Подчеркивается аспект отклонения современного коммерческого наименования, и описываются перспективные языковые методы наименования для успешной маркетинговой стратегии.

The paper considers specific language and communication projects conducted at the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, which promote the humanization of business education, provide practical implementation of knowledge and skills of students of an economic university, increase professional, linguistic and cultural competencies of future professionals. Moreover, humanitarian projects are based on the interdisciplinary and cross-cultural foundations, that enriches the process of studying business disciplines, promotes intercultural ties, forms patriotic, civilizational and universal values.

The Terminological Tolerance Concept for Economic Media Discourse: The Ukrainian Words vs Borrowed Words

The study presents an analysis of the economic segment of contemporary media discourse, which not only reproduces professional information in various genres, but also actively influences the formation of new linguistic trends. One of the most foreground phenomena in the Ukrainian media is to find a permanent balance between national and foreign-language lexical units as an indisputable factor in maintaining the adequate level of linguistic tolerance in a multicultural environment. There are controversial views on the degree of internationalization for the terms that are the main carriers of special information in the economic media texts; such a controversity is based on the attempts to maximize the use of the national linguistic resource and to borrow the instruments that will facilitate effective international scientific communication. The article analyzes the correlation of foreign languages and the specific terms in an economic media text, identifies possible causes of terminological imbalance, and emphasizes on the normative aspect of the foreign language lexemes’ functioning. The analysis of the group questionnaire results makes it possible to predict that terminological tolerance at the level of a media text and a communication participant can be achieved if we take into account substantive, national-cultural, and regulatory factors.
Абстрактні поняття добро і зло у лемківських піснях

У статті розкриваються способи репрезентації абстрактних понять «добро» і «зло», описується їх вербалізація через словесне втілення, простежується їх емоційне насичення та образність. Джерельною базою наших студій стали відомі друковані збірники лемківських пісень. У народнопоетичній творчості лемків домінантою виступає спосіб опосередкованої маніфестації добра і зла, який полягає у тому, що усе позитивно оцінне – це добро, а усе негативно оцінне – зло. У статті зазначено, що поняття добра і зла своїми витоками сягають релігійних настанов, асоціативно пов’язаних з історією гріхопадіння. Поняття добра стосується позитивно конотованих сакральних образів, а поняття зла – негативно конотованих образів. З-поміж аналізованих пісенних текстів трапляються такі, що побудовані у формі моралізаторського навчання, життєвої мудрості, або як висновок-узагальнення. Морально-етичні категорії «добро» і «зло» є ідейним стрижнем усіх лемківських пісень. In the article the ways of representation of abstract concepts «good» and «evil» are disclose, their verbalization by the verbal embodiment are described, their emotional saturation and figurativeness are traced. The source base our studies have become the known printed collections of Lemko songs. In the works of Lemko folk the way of the mediated demonstration of the good and evil acts as a dominant, it means the all that estimated positive – it's good and all negative evaluative – evil. It’s noted in the article the sources of concepts of good and evil reach to religions instructions, which are associatively connected with the history of the Fall. The concept of good relates to positively connoted sacral images, and the concept of evil – negatively connoted images. Among the analyzed texts there are songs that are built in the form of moralizing learning, wisdom or as summary-generalization. The moral and ethical categories of "good" and "evil" are the ideological core of all Lemko songs. В статье раскрываются способы репрезентации абстрактных понятий «добро» и «зло», описывается их вербализация через словесное воплощение, прослеживается их эмоциональная насыщенность и образность. Источником наших исследований стали известные печатные сборники лемковских песен. В народнопоэтическом творчестве лемков доминантой является способ опосредованной манифестации добра и зла, который заключается в том, что все, что оценивается положительно – это добро, а все, что оценивается негативно, – зло. В статье указано, что понятия добра и зла своими истоками уходят в религиозные напутствия, ассоциативно связанные с историей грехопадения. Понятия добра касаются положительно коннотированных сакральных образов, а понятия зла – негативно коннотированных образов. Среди анализированных песенных текстов попадаются как построенные в форме морализаторского обучения, жизненной мудрости, так и в форме вывода-обобщения. Морально-этические категории «добро» и «зло» являются идейным стержнем всех лемковских песен.
Агентиви у сфері електронної комерції

У статті розглянуто українські агентиви, назви діячів на позначення осіб за родом діяльності, фахом, заняттям. Всі агентиви у сфері електронної комерції можна умовно поділити на дві групи. Найбільшу групу назв становлять назви на позначення учасників акту купівлі продажу у сфері електронної комерції. Доведено, що окремо виникає група назв, які стосуються позначень комп’ютерних діячів, користувачів, які є допоміжними елементами у проведенні торгівельних процесів у цифрових економічних відносинах. The article discusses Ukrainian names of agents, names of persons by occupation, profession. All agents in e-commerce can be roughly divided into two groups. The largest group of names is made up of names to designate participants in the act of purchase and sale in the field of electronic commerce. It has been proved that a group of names arises separately that relate to the designations of computer figures, users, which are auxiliary elements in conducting trade processes in digital economic relations. В статье рассмотрены украинские агентивы, названия лиц по роду деятельности, профессии, занятия. Все агентивы в сфере электронной коммерции можно условно разделить на две группы. Наибольшую группу названий составляют названия для обозначения участников акта купли-продажи в сфере электронной коммерции. Доказано, что отдельно возникает группа названий, которые касаются обозначений компьютерных деятелей, пользователей, которые являются вспомогательными элементами в проведении торговых процессов в цифровых экономических отношениях.

У статті досліджено одну з найактуальніших і найскладніших проблем українського мовознавства ХХІ століття – формування економічної термінології на національній основі. Стандартизація економічної термінології, визначення її ролі у формуванні лінгвістичної та професійної компетентності фахівців у будь-якій галузі знань є головною проблемою на сьогодні. Проаналізовано типи лексичного запозичення, досліджено загальні риси, що визначають суть будь-якого терміна; зосереджено увагу на термінах-стандартах. Наголошено, що важливим аспектом класифікації термінологічних одиниць економічної сфери є їхні словотвірні особливості. The article examines one of the most pressing and complex problems of Ukrainian linguistics of the XXI century – the formation of economic terminology on a national basis. The terminological vocabulary is an indicator of the level of development of scientific language in society and, therefore, of science in general. Terminological vocabulary is the kind of barometer that determines the level of vocational education, as rich and extensive terminology is one of the important indicators of the level of vocational education in the country. Standardization of economic terminology, defining its role in the formation of linguistic and professional competence of specialists in any field of knowledge is the main problem today. The purpose of this article is to try to find out the types of lexical interference, to explore the common features that define the essence of any term; to analyze terms with complete structural coincidence and terms with partial replacement of components, designed by word-forming means of the recipient language; make terms-standards, terms-samples, normalize the terminology; identify linguistic and linguistic reasons for borrowing. The dialectical method is used, empirical, empirical-theoretical and theoretical methods. The article analyzes the history of Ukrainian economic terminology since the times of Kievan Rus, explains general and specific features of terminological nomination of economic concepts, investigates the problem of mastering and transmitting foreign language elements, identifies types of lexical interference, gives common features that define the essence of any terminology units of special, limited functioning; terms with complete structural coincidence and terms with partial replacement of components, designed by word-forming means of the recipient language are analyzed; Linguistic and linguistic reasons for borrowing have been identified. The general and specific features of terminological nomination of economic concepts have been found out, which will facilitate the unification, standardization and codification of this terminology; the problem of assimilation and transfer of foreign language elements is investigated. Conclusion. Standardization of terminological systems at national and international levels is necessary and relevant, since it aims at the choice of the terminological standard and its approval as a mandatory option. It is emphasized that an important aspect of the classification of terminological units of the economic sphere is their word-forming features.
