There is already a literature review outlining ways to use AI in university education. The application of AI boundlessly expands the variety of educational methodological strategies and approaches, as well as the selection of materials necessary for the teacher within the modern concept of education and the training of specialists of the 21st century. Авторка брала участь у багатьох вебінарах, присвячених темі застосування штучного інтелекту в освітньому процесі. Вже доступний також перелік літературних джерел, які висвітлюють шляхи застосування ШІ у підготовці студентів. The article analyses the opportunities, advantages, and potential risks of using artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process. The main directions of AI tool application in the activities of teachers and students are considered, including the automation of learning tasks, personalization of education, and improvement of learning efficiency. Particular attention is paid to generative language models and specialized educational platforms, their pedagogical potential and limitations. The ethical aspects of AI use are also highlighted, including issues of academic integrity, information reliability, and digital inequality. Practical recommendations for the responsible implementation of AI technologies in the educational environment are proposed.Item Teaching structured uncertainty: Epistemic Markers in English Economic News Discourse(Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана, 2026-04-23) Sinitsyna, Nadiia; Сініцина, Надія Миколаївна; Kapustina, Olha; Капустіна, Ольга ВолодимирівнаThe article explores epistemic markers in contemporary English economic news discourse as mechanisms for structuring uncertainty. It proposes an applied definition of the “epistemic operator” and identifies four main types: probability, expectation, fear/anxiety, and evidential operators. The study draws on a pilot corpus of economic articles from The Guardian. The analysis demonstrates that these constructions calibrate commitment, distribute epistemic responsibility, and shape interpretative framing, creating structured uncertainty in journalistic narratives. The approach also offers pedagogical value for discourse analysis. Стаття аналізує епістемічні маркери в сучасному англомовному економічному журналістському дискурсі як засоби структурування невизначеності. Запропоновано прикладне визначення «епістемічного оператора» та виокремлено чотири основні типи: оператори ймовірності, очікування, страху/занепокоєння та евіденційні оператори. Матеріалом слугує пілотний корпус економічних текстів The Guardian. Аналіз показує, що ці конструкції калібрують ступінь впевненості, атрибутують відповідальність і формують інтерпретаційні рамки, створюючи ефект «структурованої невизначеності». The article explores the potential of cutting-edge digital technologies in developing the intercultural communicative competence of economics students. It analyzes the potential of applying artificial intelligence (AI) to their language and professional training, particularly through modeling intercultural situations, using adaptive platforms, and leveraging intelligent systems. The paper substantiates that integrating such tools enhances learning efficiency and fosters reflection and socio-cultural sensitivity. Це зумовлює необхідність переосмислення його функцій у системі іншомовної підготовки студентів та оцінки потенціалу для підвищення ефективності навчання. Метою дослідження є конкретизація підходів до використання інструментів ШІ у викладанні іноземних мов, обґрунтування критеріїв їх добору, а також аналіз можливостей застосування у формуванні мовленнєвих умінь і підтримці професійної діяльності викладача. У роботі узагальнено сучасні інтерпретації поняття «штучний інтелект» у педагогічному контексті, окреслено напрями його впливу на організацію освітнього процесу та визначено функціональні ролі у навчанні. Доведено, що використання ШІ створює передумови для індивідуалізації навчання, варіативності освітніх траєкторій та розширення можливостей автономної роботи студентів. Окремо розглянуто етичні аспекти застосування ШІ, зокрема у площині академічної доброчесності. The paper examines the evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in English language training for students majoring in international economics. It aims to clarify methodological approaches to integrating AI-based tools into language instruction, outline selection criteria, and evaluate their pedagogical potential. The study highlights how AI contributes to personalized learning, adaptive content delivery, and enhanced student autonomy. It also addresses ethical considerations, emphasizing responsible and academically appropriate use of AI technologies. Проведено порівняльний аналіз використання Safe Exam Browser (SEB) та м’яких засобів блокування тестів у системі Moodle. Описано принципи роботи обох підходів, їхні переваги та обмеження, а також окреслено доцільність застосування кожного з них залежно від типів тестових завдань. Показано, що поєднання різних рівнів технічного контролю сприяє підвищенню самостійності студентів, покращенню якості оцінювання та формуванню культури відповідального навчання. The article addresses contemporary challenges of ensuring academic integrity in distance learning, caused by the growing use of artificial intelligence tools and machine translation services by students during online testing. A comparative analysis of Safe Exam Browser (SEB) and soft test-blocking approaches in the Moodle learning management system is conducted. The principles of operation of both solutions are described, along with their advantages and limitations, and conclusions are drawn regarding the appropriateness of their application depending on the type of test tasks. The study demonstrates that the balanced use of different levels of technical control contributes to increased student independence, improved reliability of assessment, and the development of a culture of responsible learning.Item Практичні орієнтири для модернізації освітньо-наукового комплексу України в умовах європейської інтеграції на прикладі «Ірландського прориву»(Київський національний економічний університет імені Вадима Гетьмана, 2026-04-23) Воробйова, Жанна Юріївна; Vorobiova, Zhanna; Лещенко, Любов Павлівна; Leshchenko, LiubovПриєднання Республіĸи Ірландія до Європейсьĸих співтовариств у 1973 році стало важливим етапом реформування та модернізації її освітньо-науĸового ĸомплеĸсу. На момент вступу ĸраїна мала обмежений доступ до вищої освіти та недостатньо розвинену науĸово-дослідну базу. Європейсьĸа інтеграція сприяла глибоĸим інституційним змінам, у межах яĸих освіта і науĸа були визначені стратегічними пріоритетами державної політиĸи. У статті проаналізовано ĸлючові напрями реформування системи освіти і науĸи Ірландсьĸої Республіĸи після вступу до ЄС, зоĸрема розширення доступу до вищої освіти, розвитоĸ університетів яĸ дослідницьĸих центрів, упровадження Національної рамĸи ĸваліфіĸацій та посилення системи забезпечення яĸості відповідно до європейсьĸих стандартів. Оĸрема увага приділяється ролі програм Європейсьĸого Союзу у розвитĸу академічної мобільності та міжнародної науĸової співпраці. Доведено, що освітньо-науĸові реформи в Ірландії були тісно пов’язані з еĸономічною стратегією держави та сприяли формуванню еĸономіĸи знань. Узагальнення ірландсьĸого досвіду дозволяє визначити праĸтичні орієнтири для модернізації освітньо-науĸового ĸомплеĸсу Уĸраїни в умовах європейської інтеграції. The accession of the Republic of Ireland to the European Communities in 1973 marked a significant stage in the reform and modernization of its education and research system. At the time of accession, the country faced limited access to higher education and an underdeveloped research infrastructure. European integration stimulated profound institutional changes, during which education and research were identified as strategic priorities of national development. The article analyses the main directions of education and research reform in Ireland following EU accession, including the expansion of access to higher education, the development of universities as researchoriented institutions, the introduction of the National Framework of Qualifications, and the strengthening of quality assurance mechanisms in line with European standards. Particular attention is paid to the role of EU programmes in promoting academic mobility and international research cooperation. It is demonstrated that education and research reforms in Ireland were closely linked to the country’s economic strategy and contributed to the formation of a knowledge-based economy. This article examines the «Irish breakthrough» — Ireland’s transformative economic and societal development, in which education and research reforms played a key role. It assesses core reform elements and their impact on growth, and explores the potential adaptation of these measures in Ukraine. Se fundamenta la necesidad de desarrollar la competencia comunicativa intercultural de los estudiantes en el proceso del aprendizaje del español. Se analizan los recursos metodológicos para la implementación del enfoque intercultural, en particular, el uso de materiales auténticos, formas interactivas de trabajo y el análisis comparativo de los fenómenos culturales. Asimismo, se presentan ejemplos de fenómenos lingüísticos condicionados culturalmente en el mundo hispanohablante y su comparación con la tradición comunicativa ucraniana. The article explores the intercultural approach as one of the key principles of modern foreign language teaching methodology in higher education institutions. The necessity of developing students’ intercultural communicative competence in the process of learning Spanish is substantiated. Methodological tools for implementing the intercultural approach are analyzed, including the use of authentic materials, interactive forms of work, and comparative analysis of cultural phenomena. Examples of culturally conditioned linguistic phenomena in the Spanish-speaking world and their comparison with Ukrainian communicative traditions are provided. У статті розглядається міжкультурний підхід як один із ключових принципів сучасної методики навчання іноземних мов у закладах вищої освіти. Обґрунтовується необхідність формування міжкультурної комунікативної компетентності студентів у процесі вивчення іспанської мови. Проаналізовано методичні засоби реалізації міжкультурного підходу, зокрема використання автентичних матеріалів, інтерактивних форм роботи та порівняльного аналізу культурних явищ. У роботі проаналізовано поточні фінансові відносини та визначено ключові тенденції майбутнього розвитку фінансових корпорацій. На основі аналізу останніх зарубіжних публікацій автор визначає зміст міжнародного корпоративного управління та виокремлює його сутнісні характеристики та моделі. Автор робить спробу виділити ключові принципи міжнародного корпоративного управління. Оглядом офіційних документів та веб-сайтів автором визначено суттєві особливості корпоративного управління, запровадженого в Райффайзен Банк Інтернешнл. Основи корпоративної культури Райффайзен Банк Інтернаціональ передбачає, що будь-яка економічна діяльність має бути самодостатньою, стійкою та заснованою на засадах соціальної солідарності, про що свідчать останні події. РБІ та пов'язані з ним юридичні особи є найважливішими учасниками економічних відносин Австрії та багатьох інших країн. У зв'язку з цим Група зобов’язується дотримуватися концепції сталого корпоративного управління, соціальної та екологічної відповідальності. Підхід до ведення бізнесу характеризується справедливим та відповідальним ставленням до всіх клієнтів, співробітників, акціонерів, ділових партнерів та суспільства в цілому (дотримання філософії «спільної долі»). Кодекс корпоративної поведінки Групи РБІ формує основи корпоративної культури відповідно до корпоративних цінностей та етичних принципів. The article is mainly dedicated to the analysis of the role of top management in international financial organizations, taking the case of Raiffeisen Bank International. In the work the current financial relations are analyzed and the key future trends are identified. On the basis of analyzing the recent foreign publications the author defines the content of international corporate governance and points out its essential characteristics and models. The author makes an attempt to identify key principles of international corporate governance. By reviewing the official documents and web sites the author has determined the essential peculiarities of corporate governance established in Raiffeisen Bank International. Essential characteristics of corporate culture Raiffeisen Bank International assumes that any economic activity should be self-sufficient, sustainable and based on the principles of social solidarity, as evidenced by recent events. The RBI and its related legal entities are the most important participants in the economic relations of Austria and many other countries. In this regard, the Group undertakes to adhere to the concept of sustainable corporate governance, social and environmental responsibility. The approach to conducting business is characterized by a fair and responsible attitude towards all customers, employees, shareholders, business partners and society as a whole (adherence to the philosophy of "common destiny"). The RBI Group Code of Corporate Conduct forms the basis of corporate culture in accordance with corporate values and ethical principles. Нещодавні події, такі як пандемія COVID-19 та російсько-українська війна, повністю порушили бізнес процеси, логістичні зв’язки, соціально-культурні відносини, а також істотним чином вплинули на міжнародний фінансовий клімат та взаємодію між країнами, посиливши невизначеність щодо майбутнього. Уповільнення світової економіки та війна росії в Україні створюють невизначеність і волатильність на світових ринках, посилюючи тиск на прибутки банків. Зміна клімату як довгостроковий ризик, ще більше загрожує підвищеній волатильності фінансового ринку через частіші стихійні лиха. Для українського сучасного банківського сектору повномасштабна війни з росією стала важким випробування на міцність та сталість розвитку. З іншого боку банківська система отримує безпрецедентний цінний і важливий досвід, аналогів якому знайти напевно неможливо. Вітчизняні банки спромоглися проявити рідкісний рівень інноваційності, гнучкості, ефективності та адаптивності в надзвичайно складних умовах діяльності, не понизивши при цьому рівень довіри з боку клієнтів та майже не втративши своєї фінансової міцності. Аналізуючи щорічні звіти НБУ та МВФ, автори дійшли висновку, що рейтингові позиції українських банків дещо покращилися у 2023 році порівняно з 2022 роком, що є безумовно позитивною ознакою покращення фінансової міцності банківського сектору. У таких умовах необхідні якісно нові підходи до забезпечення і підтримання фінансової стабільності банків. У статті визначено передумови та механізми підтримки стабільного фінансового стану банків в умовах несприятливого впливу чинників зовнішнього середовища. Виявлено тенденції та напрями інтеграції вітчизняних банківських установ до європейського фінансового простору. З’ясовано, що підтримання фінансової стабільності потребує застосування інноваційних та нестандартних важелів впливу. In contrast to the relatively progressive stability of the past, the modern world is facing significant economic, environmental and social turbulence, as well as rapid and constant technological progress. Recent events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war, have completely disrupted business processes, logistical connections, social and cultural relations, and have also significantly affected the international financial climate and interaction between countries, increasing uncertainty about future perspectives and security issues. The slowdown in the global economy and Russia’s war in Ukraine are creating uncertainty and volatility in global markets, increasing pressure on bank profits. Climate change, as a long-term risk, further threatens increased financial market volatility due to more frequent natural disasters. For the Ukrainian modern banking sector, a full-scale war with Russia has become a severe testing of strength, endurance and sustainability of development. On the other hand, the banking system receives unprecedented valuable and important experience, analogues of which are probably impossible to find. Domestic banks successfully managed to demonstrate a rare level of innovation, flexibility, efficiency and adaptability in extremely difficult operating conditions, without reducing the level of trust and credibility from customers and almost without losing their financial strength. Analysing the annual reports of the NBU and the IMF, the authors concluded that the rating positions of Ukrainian banks have improved somewhat in 2023 compared to 2022, which is an unquestionably positive sign of boosting the financial strength of the banking sector. In such conditions, qualitatively new approaches to ensuring and maintain the financial stability of banks are necessary to be analysed. The article identifies the prerequisites and mechanisms for maintaining the stable financial condition of banks under the adverse influence of external factors. Trends and directions of integration of domestic banking institutions into the European financial sector have been identified. Фінансові аналітики завертають увагу на консолідацію сектора банківських послуг, що має прояв у скороченні числа кредитних установ та основних форм концентрації банківського капіталу. Світові міжнародні фінансові організації працюють над сприянням фінансовій стабільності та розвитку диверсифікованих, ефективних та інклюзивних фінансових систем на глобальному та національному рівнях. Після пандемії COVID-19 макроекономічна невизначеність у всьому світі залишається високою, що збільшує ризики зниження майбутнього зростання реального ВВП, прибутковості ринку акцій і облігацій, а також банківського кредитування в Європейську союзі. Макрофінансова вразливість, така як високе співвідношення боргу державного та приватного секторів до ВВП, може взаємодіяти з високою макроекономічною невизначеністю, щоб посилити вплив несприятливих шоків на майбутнє зростання виробництва. Крім того, висока макроекономічна невизначеність погіршує міжчасовий компроміс, викликаний послабленням фінансових умов для ризику зниження середньострокового зростання виробництва, особливо коли це супроводжується низькою волатильністю фінансового ринку (розрив макроринку). Вплив макроекономічної невизначеності має тенденцію поширюватися через кордони через торговельні та фінансові зв’язки, підвищуючи ризик міжнародного зараження в умовах серйозних негативних потрясінь. У розділі також представлені докази того, що макропруденційна політика, більші резерви міжнародних резервів і підвищена гнучкість обмінного курсу можуть допомогти пом’якшити внутрішні та транскордонні наслідки макроекономічної невизначеності. In recent years, we have experienced significant changes in the structure and functioning of the international financial environment, reflected in the restructuring and consolidation of the banking system in both developed and developing countries, which has significantly changed the nature of the banking business as a whole. Financial analysts draw attention to the consolidation of the banking sector, which is manifested in a reduction in the number of credit institutions and the main forms of concentration of bank capital. On the other hand, the world's international financial organizations are working to promote financial stability and the development of diversified, efficient and inclusive financial systems at the global and national levels. After the COVID-19 pandemic, macroeconomic uncertainty around the world remains high, which increases the risks of a decline in future real GDP growth, stock and bond market yields, as well as bank lending in the European Union. Macro financial vulnerabilities, such as high public and private debt-to-GDP ratios, can interact with high macroeconomic uncertainty to amplify the impact of adverse shocks on future output growth. In addition, high macroeconomic uncertainty worsens the intertemporal trade-off that looser financial conditions pose for the risk of lower medium-term output growth, especially when accompanied by low financial market volatility (macromarket discontinuity). The impact of macroeconomic uncertainty tends to spread across borders through trade and financial linkages, increasing the risk of international contagion in the face of severe adverse shocks. This writing is mainly aimed at pointing out key learning mechanisms, summarizing core features of collaborative practices, which are supposed to promote and enhance interaction among learners and present group awareness tools and collaboration scripts as two complementary approaches to support groups during collaborative interaction. The methodological basis of the study was a critical review of gathered information concerning collaborative learning by using qualitative research methods. Specifically, this writing details how collaborative practices can be enhanced to provide foreign language learners with opportunities for interaction that fosters their acquiring new domain-specific knowledge, collaboration skills as well as develop critical thinking and personal responsibility. By introducing practices experienced at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman we provide an overview on the topic of collaborative learning and how meaningful interaction between learners can be fostered. To allow educators to design and incorporate collaborative learning activities into their own online teaching experience, the authors provide a theoretical basis for understanding the mechanisms behind effective collaborative learning as well as examples and practical considerations. У статті автори детально аналізують зміст і сутність технології онлайн навчання у співпраці як одного із прикладів інтерактивної взаємодії студентів та викладача у процесі оволодіння іноземною мовою. На основі аналізу сучасної літератури та останніх публікацій іноземних авторів виокремлено основні характеристики навчання у співпраці. Обґрунтовано доцільність застосування практик навчання у співпраці як механізму підвищення мотивації навчання та вивчення іноземної мови. Узагальнено особливості залучення практик навчання у співпраці, які мають сприяти та покращити не лише практичні вміння взаємодіяти в невеликих групах з метою досягнення конкретних цілей, а й вдосконалити мовленнєву та фахову компетентність студентів. Методологічною основою дослідження став критичний аналіз зібраної інформації про технологію онлайн навчання у співпраці за допомогою якісних методів дослідження. У статті автори пропонують рекомендації щодо покращення застосування практики навчання у співпраці, ілюструють можливості для взаємодії між учасниками навчального процесу, що уможливить підвищення рівня мовленнєвої компетентності студентів, отримання нових предметних знань, навичок співпраці, а також сприятиме розвитку критичного мислення та особистої відповідальності.
